---DON'T IGNORE: YOUR ANSWERS MAY BE HERE ALREADY. CLICK AND READ---

I retyped the info bellow to be a little more user friendly to read.

Q- Do I have to keep using the EV training items after I'm done EV Training?

A- No, once you're done, you're done. Train it however in the world you like afterwards.

Q- Can I use Rare Candies after I'm done EV Training.

A- As I mentioned before, you can train it however in the world you want after its done EV Training. This includes Rare Candy.

Q- This isn't working! How come I didn't get +30 in a stat like I saw in other EV Training videos?!

A- My Squirtle didn't get +30 either, in case you didn't notice. But keep in mind that Pokemon only gain 1 Stat point from their EVs once every few levels. If the Pokemon was at a higher level to begin with before EV training, the game will make up for all the levels it has already passed where an EV WOULD HAVE been added, resulting in those bigger stat increases you saw. Just because you didn't get it with your level 5 Pidgey, it doesn't mean you screwed up.

When Black & White comes out, don't ever expect those big stat increases to happen again. Mechanics have changed and EVs will be added right away.

Q- What Pokemon do I fight for certain stats and where?

A- Here are some links to Serebii on what Pokemon give what stats. Try to find the most common and where they appear it: It's called being resourceful!

For Attack: http://tinyurl.com/yf4q3yc

For Sp. Attack: http://tinyurl.com/yz56qrb
For Sp. Defense: http://tinyurl.com/ylxn7jn
For Speed: http://tinyurl.com/yl5znec

Q- Can I EV Train a Level 100 Pokemon?

A- In the 3rd and 4th Generation Pokemon games, no; you cannot. But in the 5th Generation Pokemon games, Black & White, the answer is actually yes since some inner mechanics have changed.

Q- Where do I get the Power Items?

A- In Diamond & Pearl- Battle Tower. For the rest of the 4th Generation games, you get them at the Battle Frontier. In B/W, Battle Subway. All cost 16 BP a piece.

Q- My Pokemon won't take in any vitamin drinks! WHY?!

A- If you're trying to EV train a Pokemon that you have previously used before, it is probably because it has already gained too many EVs. Remember that just because you're not EV Training on purpose, it doesn't mean you never gain them. Any time your Pokemon earns EXP points from battles, it earns some EVs too.

Q- Is there an easy way to help make sure I keep on track with my EVs?

A- If you're doing what I did, getting 10 EVs per defeated Pokemon, try using only the same attack over and over if it OHKOs a Pokemon. If you lose track of how many EVs you might have, look at how many times you used a certain move. If you used it say, 7 times so far, you have 70 EVs. Remember to use your head first in math.

Q- Can I use the EXP Share to share EVs?

A- Yes, but not in the same way it shares EXP Points. Pokemon are only set up INDIVIDUALLY to earn a certain amount of EVs. Even if the Pokemon in front has PokeRus and holding a Power Item, getting 10 EVs per Pokemon, the one holding the EXP Share will NOT get 10 EVs, or even 5 EVs. Depending if it has PokeRus or not, it'll only get 1 or 2 EVs.

Q- What if I want to EV Train a Pokemon I've used before? Is there a way to erase EVs?

A- There is only one way and you have to use these berries: Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa, and Tamato. These work like the opposite of Vitamin Drinks, where they take away 10 EVs for every item used. But on the 11th berry fed, it erases all EVs in a specific stat field completely.

Q- Are EVs ever replaced from other new EVs?

A- No. Once you reach the max of 510 EVs, your Pokemon stops collecting them. Imagine it like a jar of Jelly Beans: Once the jar gets full, any new Jelly Beans you try to add just roll off the top. All the other Jelly Beans added in the jar before it is filled remain there.

Q- How can I get PokeRus?

A- PokeRus is very, very rare to find naturally (your chances of finding a shiny Pokemon are actually better than finding PokeRus naturally), but your chances of finding a Pokemon with it over the GTS are far greater. So, hook onto the GTS and do a lot of trades!

Q- How can I tell if I have PokeRus?

A- On your Pokemon's status screen, you know where it'll show some Status things like Poison or Frozen? In the same area, a box will say "PKRS". Look at 6:12 of my video and look around; fairly obvious.

Q- My PokeRus is gone and now a small happy face is on the screen! What does it mean?

A- It means the Pokemon is "cured" of PokeRus and it can no longer infect other Pokemon with PokeRus, nor can it be infected with it again. But don't worry; This Pokemon will still be able to gain double EVs since the effects of PokeRus are permanent.

  • I need help! Let's say I'm EV training my Dewgong for Defense (with Durants, which give 2 defense EVs). I have PokeRus AND Power Belt, how many EVs would I get for 1 Durant?

  • @MudkipPwnz120 Here is the slight algebraic formula for your combination. Do remember the order of process to get the right answer! (Hint: "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally")

    2(x + 4) = y

    x = 2

    Solve for y.

  • @HardytheBeetle So I get 12 EV points right?

  • @MudkipPwnz120 Bingo, that's right.

  • Why people use hacks etc pokegen for Evs and shinys when it is morer fun doing this plus you can actually us legit pokes on the random wifi, in other words don't cheat

  • \/ NEVER MIND THAT COMMENT \/

  • Ok sorry but I have ANOTHER question! If I'm battling a Durant and I have my level 1 in front, then switch out to my Samurott, would Samurott steal some EV points?

  • I have no idea what you're saying.

  • @MudkipPwnz120 To correct you, levels do matter. While you can only have a total of 255 EVs max (but better to go with 252) ever, the EVs only become stat points as they level up at an even pace between 1 to 100. It is to prevent Pokemon from becoming overpowered too quickly.

  • @TheJMan1231000 252 for one stat as long as they live! Levels don't matter at all!

  • @HardytheBeetle wait, I'm kind of confused, so do I only get 252 Ev's total once, or do I have to get 252 Ev's for every single level?
