Bubbled under the Billboard Hot 100 at #106 in 1960. This song was written by Gordon Jenkins and Johnny Mercer in 1934. It was originally a hit for Rudy Vallee. Bernadette Carroll and other singers who went on to sing as The Angels composed this group.

    The best version of this song I think is by the Hilltoppers. Big hit in the early 50's.

  • I like the Hilltoppers version a lot too. They were a great group. Yes, this is one of the first recordings by members who would go on to form the Angels. The picture is blurry but it's one of the only ones I could find from the time they were the Starlets. :) Thanks for your comment!
