GREAT work. Great video and thank you for taking your time to put this all together. As an EV enthusiast and car nut, I really appreciate you posting this and sharing your knowledge. I hope you thoroughly ignore all the idiots that have posted anything negative below. (Where are THEIR videos and hobby projects with their names in the credits I wonder!) Anyway, for all my work and reading research, I JUST NOW learned about the Electric Pacer thanks to you! Good Karma will surly come to you now.
Jesus the narrator's voice annoyed me, dial back the douchey tone through the entire thing, please.
Oh, and the Porsche 928 was made from 1977, the pacer from 1975, so besides for obvious reasons (usual time it takes to design a car and put it into production, etc.), I really doubt that Porsche would take inspiration from the bubble-car design of the Pacer.
I have a '78 pacer that I want to turn to an electric and completely rework the interior and put modern looking bumpers/trim on it. And an electric/neon retro paint job on it. I installed a nice sound system with a sub, and let my friends play my microkorg while there in the car. I want to get the pacer mp3 player/dj device and connect that to the microkorg and my sound system. hehe, I'd like to do tons of shit to it... It'd be cool if chrysler brought back the amc brand and made electric cars!
Considering the car was a nonfunctional wreck in an overgrown junkyard I don't know if any amount of cleaning would have helped. You take what footage you can get.
A gasolne heater? Kind of defeats the purpose.

Too bad the electric car and the AMC Pacers were a total failure!
