John MacArthur - Joel Osteen is a New Age Religionist

Before anyone complains no I've not turned into a Calvinist but many Calvinist's are good Christians.

Joel Osteen however is not a good Christian Minister. He is nothing more than a feel-good motivational speaker with a thin veneer of Christianity.

In fact as John MacArthur reveals his message is identical with that of Oprah Winfrey's New Age message of 'The Secret' and the 'Law Of Attraction'.

It is stupid when preachers, who are supposed to be using the pulpit to feed the sheep, use majority of their time, slamming down other preachers instead of solely focusing on what Jesus has done on the cross. Is Christianity about condemning others or looking to Jesus? If health, wealth, prosperity and all other fulfillment of all your dreams and desires are satanic, question: why did Jesus heal the leper, the syrophoenician woman and cast out demons if health is not what He desires for us?

@junkymonky It’s obvious that you have no concept of apologetics! Osteen doesn’t just preach health and wealth but corrupts the very gospel itself by introducing concepts that are New Age in origin.

He accepts Mormons as Christian’s even though they are polytheists for example.

So thinking positive is a sin?Expecting good things is a sin?The bible say's "Ask and you shall receive".There is many quotes in the bible that support Joel.Sure some of his words were twisted a bit,but it's in the bible.People tend to believe what they WANT,so this MacArthur here is just talking from his own believes.What the point in thinking negative,being unhappy,expecting the worse.That's what I would call the devil.He wants hate,sadness, and you hating life,so what is joel doing wrong?

He's certainly not preaching the gospel of salvation, which is required off a preacher!

No he's simply giving a feel-good message and making a lot of money from his books.

He's telling people what they WANT to hear instead of what they NEED to hear.

Mcarthur is one of the last bashtons of hope for the mother church to keep the children of God from unifying as one church. He knows the masses are catching on. Truth cant be hidden for much longer. The likes of teachers like john is coming to an end.

I don't agree with the teaching of Olsteen, but I think John could have done a better job exposing Olsteen's false teaching rather than 'bashing' him most of the time.

@ManofStryfe That is a wrong doctrine; it is not even in the bible. Anything out of the bible is wrong teaching. If that was the case everyone would be going to heaven and there is no need to keep up with the good law given by our savior Jesus Christ.

Anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. It means we have to follow him till the end by loving him with all our heart, soul and body. Loving him means obeying his commandment.

@ManofStryfe So if we are a follower of Jesus we ne to follow him till the end and with his grace we can, God wants us to give him our heart and if something is hard for us, we are to pray to brake anything that Our savior doesn’t approve of.

Mathew 10 39 whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
