Critical Mass Minneapolis police arrest cyclists

Critical Mass is a celebration for cyclists. Minneapolis, and Minnesota in general, is a very bike friendly state, but that hasn't stopped 2 cars from disobeying basic traffic laws and hitting me. I cycle for recreation and was hit on two separate times by cars before I turned age 20. Critical Mass raises attention to cyclists (not all the attention is good as you can tell), but before you judge ask yourself how you'd feel if your son or daughter was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

Normally I'm not very pro-cop but in cases like this I'd like to see them bust up some shit - not the riders, but their toys.

I can't wait to run over my first bicyclist .. .
" he just came out of nowhere"

They are not "your streets" like you are chanting. Share the road and maybe cyclists will stop getting a bad name and there wont be so many smeared all over the road.

Okay, maybe there's only one tent in anal-retentive, but you don't have to be living in one to clearly hear they are shouting "OHIO STATE !"

@capturetheory I ride a motorcycle without a helmet, that makes you another spandex-wearing anal re-tententive show-off who likes to ride on dangerous roads just so people will have to swerve to not run over you endangering tens of lives so you can feel the control you were never able to relinquish at potty time...yes, we see your bright, shiny ass..

WTF is the point? Minneapolis is one of the most bicycle friendly cities in the entire country. I am a cyclist and I ride all over Minneapolis and am speechless when I see this kind of asinine behavior. You want more bike trails? Good luck trying to convince the state to open more parks and build more trails. Stupid shit like this just dooms the whole process.
You know how long it took to open Theo Park?? You think this helps??
Elitist is right.
