  • shit you guys need a drummer and to start stretching them vox.. and you got a band..this is sweet, not to much ...not to little, hit it perfect.....

  • The guy on the Strat sounds good.

  • Wow klasse !!! SUPER!!! 5P:)

  • I buy my vintage guitars and amps on ebay .I manage to find what im looking for .If I could find that 1961 Rick 3 quarter size guitar John had with the Silver Beatles ,I would buy it.

  • honestly i would have bought the 6122 instead of my jaguar if it was american made. its sad to see such an american guitar with so much history outsourced to japan, so i desided to not "endorse" that. but the gretsch just wasnt for me, so i got the jaguar which can be bright mellow jazzy bluesy surfy and great for rythm. it was more useful to me than the gretsch which for me only had the beatles thing goin for it.

  • George Harrison played a Gretsch duo jet on early recordings .Then before filming Harddaysnight Rickenbacker gave Harrison a guitar.Garypacemaker played a gretsch .the surf sound was more Fender I guess before 1964

  • Well put ..Thanks !!!!

  • ive played gretsches and hated them, so to each his own. if you want to do beatles and brittish invasion stuff, then get a rick. if you want a versatile rick, try a rick 650. if you want to be another face in the crowd get a les paul or a fender. theyre not terrible, but theres way too many out there and i like to have something different. For me its a rickenbacker, for you its gretsch.

  • bass was at 0, mids around 7, treble at 10, reverb at 10, and palm mutes. ricks dont sound cheap in person and i find mine to be very versatile. this is a fairly mediocre recording using just the cameras microphone plus youtube ruins the quality.

  • excellent..what effect did you put on the rythme guitar that sounded great...you needed a bigsby for the lead Rickinbacker .I had that Lennon Ric.they really have a cheap sound so I dumped it for a Gretsch.its more versatile.
