I'm not as coherent as I should be...kinda ranting a little bit, but I'm totally serious about this. Watch the whole thing, it makes sense if you think about it....

and here's the link to Prop 8 The Musical from funny or die

  • Moakler wants to be a role model for her children...by posing nude in Playboy....AGAIN.

Hey man eat cereal with less sugar and brush up on your early American history . The Puritans left England fleeing the "State" Church of England.

Christanity isn't about "rules" We are free. Since you came out of Romanism I can see why you might believe that false doctrine.

  • i know there are christian, and even Catholic, doctrines that are freer...however though i may not have mentioned them there are many others that oppose not only homosexuals but lots of people. they either oppose them or push their own views upon them in an attempt to change them.

as for early american history, as important as it is, i find it boring for the most part....in all honesty.

  • I read an article titled When same-sex marriage was a Christian rite that you might find interesting on the examiner website.

  • i guess gimme a link.

that's what sets me apart from the rest of the gay community, i suppose. BECAUSE i do so believe that there should be a definite separation between religion and law. It is, currently, heavily unequal.

when i DO find a life partner and we have a ceremony, i will say we are married, because it is accepted in my religion. What i NEED are the legal rights.

  • Marriage is not exclusively religious, no matter how much they keep trying to sell there faith based nonsense. There is such a thing as Civil Marriage. We are a Secular country.

Many of our founders were deists. The pledge by the way originally did not have any mention of god nor did our currency say in god we trust.

  • like i said in the description, i'm not entirely coherent and focused, as it was a rant.

and regardless, i stand by my belief and opinion that a civil union (meaning the legal rights/accompanying benefits) and a religious ceremony should be two total different things.

  • i think your right!

  • Google the articles title from my previous comment should bring you there. I like that you stand by the separation of church and state.

I agree with you pointing out the fact that the rights are NEEDED.

  • I think I understand what you are trying to say. I rather you be for civil unions then nothing. I feel that Civil Unions are separate and un-equal and I hope you someday change your view.
