OK. I hope I don't have to report that the writers and Jean Passanante are failing us again. I think all the leaked spoilers for this month were an attempt to keep viewers watching this train wreak while they try to get it back on track. Jean Passanante even said "This summer is going to be about Noah learning to have trust in this relationship and Luke proving to Noah that he deserves to be loved. It's going to be a romantic story." I hope I'm not jumping the gun here (were only two days in), but so far it seems we're still stuck with the people who gave us the terrible carjack "Talking Dummy" story line. They just about destroyed Luke and Noah's story, first with the kissing ban and then with the terribly written and executed "Ameera" story line. I thought the breakup was their way of rebooting, restarting the story, but now we have a dumb Noah ( why would he think his father, with all his military training, was dead?) and a weak, spineless Luke. People are finding it very hard to understand Noah's motivation for needing time away from Luke. The writers have to create sympathy and understanding for Noah. I hope this month they can get it right. What they really may need is a new Head Writer and writing team that can handle a strong character driven GAY love story that gets us to a new place for Luke and Noah.
Next Luke and Noah is Monday June 16th and Wednesday 18th .
Here's an early spoiler for next week from http://www.afterelton.com
Luke and Noah are still broken up (hey, Cyndi's not in town until July 3rd) and Ameera tells the boys that she's having the marriage annulled and urges them to get back together. It's reported that Luke and Noah fans should pay attention to the second week in June. That is when 'it' happens and everything will change. Tala Ashe (Ameera) said that the fans would be happy with what happens... at least initially. Remember, as previously reported in another thread, Ameera is getting deported, or something, in a manner that is not pleasant for Noah and it looks like Luke may have had something to do with it. How can this be good for their relationship?
i sometimes like pushy Lily, when Martha was doing it, she seemed less self serving. when Noel's Lily does it, even though it's for the right reasons and i may agree with her, i don't always like watching the result. but the good thing about Noel's Lily, i notice more how alike Lily and Luke are. they're both needy and clingy, which i know why, i mean it's Holden and Noah, i'd cling to them too, but i can also see how that can cause them to need space.
