This is a demonstration of the Phoenix WiFi radio. This is lower cost and less capable than the Grace models. The Phoenix does have a USB input that allows it to play when away from WiFi. It can operate on batteries but they only last about 4 hours. This unit will play only a fraction of what the Grace models can, but it is a lower cost alternative if it covers the stations and podcasts you want to hear.

The DC input circuit on mine failed. So I wired the AC-DC adapter to a battery substitute made from a ½" wooden dowel as seen here:

2 out of 5 if it doesn't pick up your favorite stations. 4 out of 5 if it plays most of the stations you want to listen to. Go to the wifi-radio biz website listed in my original post above to test out what stations it is capable of.
