she still got it!
amazing!!

She has become from punk rock queen to soulful diva with her new voice. After finding performances of her from 2004 and probably even before that in 2000 or so, her voice is different now. She can still sing but unfortunately doesn't have that amazing resonant voice she used to have. Well, she is also older which naturally brings her voice lower. I still like her new songs though..it fits her style now.

I agree with your post 100%. However, today´s goths are not the same than the goths from the 80´s or 90´s, what we know as trad goths will be more alike to Siouxie in my opinion.

damn, she's the Queen!! i wuld think that i've LIVED when i see her LIVE. oh, i'd like to believe that day will come. just like i'd like to believe that i'll see Depeche Mode someday. The Cure for me was unbelievable to see, would do so again anytime!

But hey!I don't think that Siouxsie's music is goth, nor the Cure are.
New wave, post punk describe them better I think.
Just pointing it out because I hear all the time the term goth for such artists and I believe they aren't.

bosh
I don't really care what people think. Being goth is not about Marilyn Manson. Anyway, Siouxsie did not have quasi-goth songs... Juju and Tinderbox are as goth as one can be!
I know she prefers being called punk, but wether she likes it or not, she will always be remembered as one of the first goths.

Well, everyone's voice change as they get older, it's a hormonal thing I guess. Siouxsie is still a great performer though, one of the best around, not only for her vocals but also for the way she looks and acts, she really is a Queen! I love you Suzy!
