I just saw the Prada for the first time today. Stunning. I-phone looks like something you'd use while eating cotton candy. I-phone is now free in Japan, but the Prada has been reduced to 52,000 yen so I'll get it.

iphone doesn't have 3G partly because it saves battery (surfing on any GSM net is a waste of time and money imo but that's not the point). But mostly because EDGE is alot wider in the states.

My point excactly, who cares if LG spawned they idea, the iphone kicks its "luxury fashion brand" arse. Basically they got owned, apple made a better phone (by miles) AND, they made LG say : " Hey! That was our idea".

...and not to metion that apple obviously advertised the iphone MUCH better than LG did theirs. simply because of global response. FACT: the most googled word in the world beating any other subject by 25 times (at least) is IPHONE. :D if LG is going t o make a screen that big, they shoulda put a virtual keyboard instead of a number pad with t9. if you want to trash something, know everything. MANE AN EDUCATED OPINION FRUITCAKES.

even if the iphone IS a copy of the LG prada phone, or the prada phone sparked the ideas of the iphone, the iphone still is an improvement. with wi-fi and EDGE, scheduled firmware upgrades enabling ongoing improvements, an accelerometer which is ridiculous, amazing web browsing, and the ability to listen to music while you do anything else on it. the only places it lacks are the bluetooth abilities and the inability to add flash memory. but the bluetooth can be changed with a firmware upgrade...

i have a prada phone and it is amazing but i may have to exchange it for an iphone because it is not compatible with the 850 mhz bandwidth...and the 1900 mhz bandwidth is not used very much where i live making it so i rarely have network coverage :-(

they may not have coppied the phone, but they did copy the design since they look alot alike, and both have the same touchscreen configuration, but prada came up with the design more than 6 months before the iphone started drawing plans.
