Matthew Forman is an SDI weapons designer who is reanimated into an unknown future after being cryogenically frozen for an incurable illness for three centuries. He is greeted by Sarah, a telepathic woman of the future who not only performs psychic surgery on him to cure his disease, but introduces him to the agrarian post apocalypse community she lives in. A community with every need met through genetic engineering, psionics, and super science in harmony with nature, but also with a deadly secret. The community is threatened by the instigators of the war that are returning to Earth in an advanced relativistic spacecraft..

(opening narration) In his mind he starts to hear a song, a song of alien thoughts begin without voice, welcoming him. Matthew Forman, once a sleeper standing outside time has found his place at last. A voyager touching the furthest shores of the Twilight Zone..

in 300 years you best hope that there are still cities, coz when everything floods the rooftops are the only place people will be able to stand on........ maybe if people stopped buying bottled water it may be different. just to give you a idea, the world TODAY has 20,000,000,000 litres of water stored . thats a lot of water...

@pgy002 300 years is nothing on an evolutionary scale. Meme will change a fair bit. Sexual selection will produce imperceptible differences. 3000 years is nothing. Meme will change hugely. Sexual selection will produce slight differences. 30,000 years might produce a new hair colour if we're still around. 300,000 years might see slight changes in intelligence. 3 million years? Ok. Now you're talking.

@pgy002 I'm not sure what you're basing this on since interracial relationships are still a minority behaviour and most people tend to date within their own racial spectrum.

But please. Enlighten me. I'd like to see what evidence you have for this theory. You're talking 300 years in the future. That's not enough time for genetic changes to make drastic differences in humans. Sure, there's sexual selection but still not enough time to run racial difference into the ground. By a WIDE margin.

Wow talk about homeopathic medicine! I remember this episode of NTZ back in the 80's and it facisnated me. Reminds me a of Callenbach(Ecotopia,The Future Primitive), Starhawk (5th sacred thing) and Kim S. Robinson (3 Californias Trilogy, 3 Mars trilogy) works.
