Exactly it's really hard to compare the 2 and it'd be impossible to pick one of 2 in NBA draft nowadays having the #1 pick. Amazing players, saved the NBA!

@HeadlessEye It is obvious to me that you have never sat through and watched Larry Bird play an entire game. You've only seen highlights and looked at stats, you would not compare the two if you had truly watched them play and you would know that the Celtic offense did not lend itself to high APG. Coupled with the fact that Larry did not handle the ball, his assist marks are pretty impressive. I understand you prefer Magic but don't come in here and say he's better, that's just ignorant.

@HeadlessEye Magic wasn't even the best player on his Laker team from 80-85, there was no question Bird was the man on the Celtics every year he played. They could both pass and rebound, but Bird was a greater scorer and shooter than Magic could have ever been in his little fantasy.
