to grind change to something so small
that change ceases to change
and stillness enters from here to here
from moments stretched to so compact a seed
that each moment manages
to be origin to all others,
each center an edge and each edge center,
till trembling and loving ( not love or is )
but becoming and fire, water and wind
give way like waves give way
breaking their being open on the shore

  • I've missed you! I have been away from you tube for a while but what a treat you've prepared for me and all the people who love listening to you! Saying THANK YOU is just not enough but it's all I can give across the oceans.

  • @ewucha It is more than enough....thank you in return for returning.

  • Sounds like this is about Calculus.

  • @blickblocks And right you would be to sense it! But hopefully its not as painful to read : )

And great to hear from you!

  • As aways...inspiring, I watched this video 3 times and each time it turned into a completely different poem...in so many levels! Thank you Sarah. Ariel.

  • @Michifox100 Then the poem did all I could ask of it to do. Thank you Ariel - I appreciate it.

  • Dear Sarah,

Thank you for this beautiful poem!!! I must agree totally with Michifox...about to find out in how many different poems on how many different levels it's going to be doing this for me...still living on the run, hoping to vlog again soon, and sending loving thoughts your way. Big HUG( for Allen too) from Rickie

  • @Pennhill007 And sometimes it is precisely that - the giving ourselves over to floating, allowing our being to be carried by the force of flow beneath us - that is most needed. Too often we try swimming against the tide within ourselves.

  • I felt as though i was floating on one of those waves.
