  • It seems ungrateful to look down on winning the Super Bowl. There are so many men who have played the game, that have never gotten a chance to win a World Championship, would be happy to win one. The 1970 Colts should give it to those men if they're that ashamed about it. Spoiled by their own previous successes that they forgot to stop and smell the roses. You can't have everything in life, so appreciate what you got in life or else it's all over before you get a chance to take it back.

  • I agree. The colts lost super bowl 3. The jets didn't beat them. Had schula put Unitas in earlier I'm 97% sure they woulda won

  • @curtis0360

I don't know, the Patriots might be the better candidate for the next "Missing Rings" series.

  • @cityhawk

That's right, a win is a win no matter how one would look at it. Better to win messily than to lose a pretty game.

  • @curtis0360 I think you mean Baltimore Ravens 2011 MISSING RINGS =)

  • The Colts' Super Bowl V ring is one of the most beautiful of them all. No gaudy bling, just a simple horseshoe in a sapphire setting. Classic.

  • Earl Morrall really played like garbage in Super Bowl III. I always say The Colts lost that game, more than The Jets beat them. Matt Snell should've won MVP.

Mike Curtis is one of the GREATEST, TOUGHEST linebackers to ever play the game!

  • Man I wish my cable company would carry The NFL Network! These shows, and The Missing Rings shows are so AWESOME!

Thank you so much for uploading all of these!

The more these men get hurt. The more some lawyer steps in and figures out that the NFL has lied about concussions. Or they lied about helmets. And then a lawsuit happens. Then an owner is making a huge payout to a law firm on behalf of ex-players.

    But guess who ultimately pays?

    You.

Because those owners will jack up the price of all things NFL in order to offset those claims. Goodell is a puppet, but this is about the owners too.

  • @DiceCarlinKinison

I hate Goodell as much as the next guy. But this has NOTHING to do with Goodell. He is simply (as Harrison said) a puppet. He works FOR the 31 (I know there are 32 teams) multi-millionaires/billionaires who have NO intention of giving one dollar to these men, some of whom played before they even owned the team. They also are trying to prevent themselves from having to pay current players in the future.
