Jeremy Piven has more hair in 2011 than in the early 90's :)

Dude, thats an insult to Paul comparing him to Bryan Adams! Bryan has little talent whereas Paul most certainly does!

You all missed the boat. Paul and the Mats created grunge! Without the Replacements you wouldn't even be watching a movie about grunge and "Singles". Hell, Courtney moved to Minneapolis just to be close to the Replacements. Curt Cobain even named the first album after the song Nevermind. What more can you want???

Paul is awesome cause he always went for " a song ", with words and an idea instead just trying to push a particular sound to fit a niche. That's why we have an awesome mix of songs like Androgynous, Black Diamond, and Treatment Bound. He used what fit his idea whereas so many shit bands just try and bowl you over with how "heavy" they are when really they're just conforming to the conventions of their genre cause they don't know what else to do. Anyway thanks for dropping those album titles.

Maybe Ryan Adams was influenced by Paul's music, which is a really good thing.

Naw, Bryan Adams's wealth and fame is what Westerberg was after which is why he sacrificed his art and writing talent for this dribble.

Well even Paul's softer songs with the Mats like, Skyway,Swingin' Party."Here Comes a Regular" or Nightclub Jitters" are great examples of art at it's highest expression. Paul's solo material is so uninspiring and so lame a jack hammer wouldn't be able to move a listener's knee.

I've heard pretty much every song Paul ever wrote I would hardly call his early stuff with The Mats' heavy music. The first few records had songs I would describe as Punk but maybe now I am just splitting hairs. Come Feel Me Tremble and Stereo/Mono are great albums. Even Folker had moments of genius though none of his solo material came close to Tim, Let it Be, or Pleased To Meet Me.

You and Paul would do well to take heed of bands like the Mongloids. Check 'em out if your not too much of a pussy for some heavy music the kind that Paul used to write.
