- Returning to the wreck of the SS Thistlegorm that Captain Cousteau explored in 1955, the crew of Alcyone finds the site pelted by a veritable hailstorm of recreational divers. The coral encrusted cargo ship attracts so many divers, and their accompanying debris, that an artificial reef has been created from another vestige of war, a tank, to provide an alternative site and help disperse the stress of visitation.
