This whole album has some of the best lyrics i've ever heard. Ben Folds sings from such an honest, and sometimes hopless, place. Not to mention the haunting melodies, it's a shame he no longer creates work of this calibur.

You can tell that Randy Newman was a big influence to Folds, especially in the beginning. This song feels like it should be in the Toy Story soundtrack. An awesome movie I might add.
It's pretty amazing how many people cite Newman as an influence. Pretty flawless execution on Ben's part. Again.
