I made a projector that projects the image of a flat soap film on a screen. I then stimulated the film with sound. The results were amazing. Most commonly, beautiful vortexes.

i love how vortexes are usually the answer to most phenomenon in fluid dynamics. they do so many strange and beautiful things.

This is a very nice piece of work. Is it posibble to resolve a certain plane with polarized light?

Thanks, maybe if we had particles that polarized light only by reflection, we could use a laser sheet? I haven't tried anything like that yet.

"Vortices", "You all" was a nice touch since I am from Kentucky, "Land of Blood and Dreams" and no I don't have a video. Why don't you make a soap film projector and see for yourself. Not so difficult. I used a ring for the film, and shown a 20 watt quarze/halogen spotlight off it though an objective lense onto a screen. Below the film I placed a speaker to stimulate the film with sound. Strangely beautiful, "vortices woman".

I'm a guy, but our narrator is a woman.

To clarify, I projected the reflection off the film.
