crystal radio reciever problem here is the power being xmitted is in the microwatt per ^2meter. Say this power were actually usable to run say a HVAC unit we'd all fry just if u look at a microwave the gigahertz rf produced is somewhere along the lines of 300-700 watts of power xmitted per square meter

I'm afraid I have to call bullsh#t unless I see it working, do to the losses involved in the necessary receiver and tuning circuit, and the leakage current in the nanodiode. Looks good on paper but I can't see it being more practical than photovoltaics. Check out the neutrino catching concept, just remember the number 1.6.

That chunk of lead was acting as an electromagnetic core. It is not a battery. By shaking the flashlight you are moving the core up and down, and so produce an alternating magnetic field. Wires around this field will then cut through this magnetic field, inducing a voltage in the wire. This is what produces your energy. The energy isnt coming from chemical/electrical energy stores in a battery, it is coming from the kinetic energy you are putting into it.
