    Smaller R/C scopes, such as a 12.5 inch runs around $21,500 for the OTA only.

    A 16 inch OTA runs $43,000.

    Mounts, such as the Paramount ME to drive these smaller scopes runs about $14,000.

    A good CCD camera for imaging, which is why you bought an R/C to begin with will run you another $15,000.

    True research grade scopes don't come cheap.

  • Also, can you see any exoplanets around nearby stars with this telescope?
