I think hell is about to freeze over, because CPAC actually let TWO anarchists speak...

I don't think anyone even realized it, but the other one's Joe Salerno. He gave a speech on the Fed.

  • 9:30 In my interpretation of Mises, government doesn't need to be evil to be screwing all this stuff up. All it needs to do is lose private property protection as a first principle. Unfortunately, seemingly every department of the federal government are special exceptions to private property rights, and has had exactly the consequences one could expect. Worse, this includes many departments that are accepted as Constitutional.

It's like deceiving oneself that when you buy little tiger it will grow into a peacefull kitty if you just feed it right, isn't it? Don't be naive..

  • 24:10 "When the government modifies the government established rules of a government established institution who's deposits continue to be insured by the government, how is that the free markets fault?"

    Brilliant!

  • Minimal government and anarchy are very different

  • What motive would they have for wanting anarchy? You people are retarded

  • Anarchist? My god pwopl

  • I got ROLLBACK signed by Thomas Woods in Topeka, Kansas yesterday!!!!

  • I love Tom Woods.

  • @PJCelis Woods is certainly an anarchist, just about everyone with the Mises Institute is. I think Murray Rothbard was really the central man to thank.. Most are of a sort I call pragmatic anarchist. People who don't seem to openly condemn working within the system and generally say the government should obey the Constitution, then reduce taxes to nil and allow eventual competition in all services.
