Siren Replacement in Richland Center

A Federal Signal 2001 replaced a 3T22 in Richland Center back in 2008. The 3T22 was relocated to the west side of Richland Center to improve siren coverage. It was NOT scraped.

UPDATE: It has come to my attention that the 3T22 has been relocated to the west side of Richland Center to improve siren coverage.

It was NOT replaced or scraped.

The 3T22 still lives on!!

But if that part of town needed siren coverage, why did they waste their time putting up the 2001 there and moving the 3t22 when they could have just put the 2001 on the side of town that needed a siren?

IDK???? Maybe it was going to another town with no siren coverage. RC is not that big and they already have 2 2001's and a thunderbolt, so my guess is the 3T22 went to another town. I hope it did not get scraped.

Update: The 3t22 has been removed and the 2001 remains in place and is working.

BTW the 2001 contains 130 dB of pure FAIL.

No, our (Huntsville, AL's) modulator was replaced with a model 2. The modulator was in Big Spring Park, but now a Model 2 is there. I have a siren tour (walkaround) of the new model 2.

I'd like to see the 3t22 stick its leg out and trip that 2001 while its sounding. Then it would stand still completely innocent but would giggle under its breath discreetly. LOL

If anyone has audio or video of THAT 3t22 from North Park in Richland Center, could you please link it or send it to me? Kind of weird, but I sort of have a history with that siren, and I'd like to hear it/see it work again. Thanks. I know for a fact there is audio of it, but the website that hosted it is gone. If anyone has it, please let me know. Thanks very much!
