How did you do the power transfer from the stand to the board?
I'm going to build one for school and a friend of me made one (only 10 red leds) with bearings to transfer the power.
please send me the way you did it.
thx

This is a really amazing achievement, damned clever..very well done indeed!

You're a god.

@timatlightbox Fine, I might very well do. I'm not even meaning to be rude in any way even though it may sound like I am. But that is a LOT for a small amount of electonic hardware and programming.
Do you (or anyone) sell these? That is freakin awesome!!!

Nice work there. However, there are places in the demo where things look a bit funky. For instance, at 3:35, the red circle could be smoother (since it could be drawn directly by one of the dots, not by converting a cartesian image). And in the Walking Mario demo at 3:58, the white lines on the ground could move in a 3D fashion by lining them up with the actual stripes (since they actually should converge in the center... I hope you know what I mean).

@KurtWoloch There is not enough RAM to mix two graphics mode at the same time. So, it's circular, OR cartesian.

Dude, I saw Polarclock! Awesome! You should send this to ThinkGeek, I'm sure they'll be all over it.
By the way, is there a way to construct one without such a large base? It'd be cool to mount it on a wall without a black backdrop and just see a holographic clock hover there.

@VinLAURiA No, This is impossible, because it's tne motor... but you can put the mothr "IN THE WALL" and the needle only outside if you have the knowledge to do it of course! On friend of mine did it!
