I beat the true Super Mario 2 before. It is really hard. I cannot beat it without getting at least one Game Over and I am a pro at these kind of games. I prefer the American SMB2. The difficulty is more balanced and fair and it is more fun to play for me. It also feels like a new game and not like a sadistic SMB1 clone. I like the Japanese Mario 2 don't get me wrong but it is unfair at times. I still struggle with a 0 Game Over run of this game to this day. It's impossible.

i hate doki doki panic (mario version) its so erattic and the mouse in world one is hard as hell without experience. id give it a 4 out of 10.

Truthfully, I hate both of these games. Each in some way pisses me off.

Lost Levels - Too hard, resembles SMB1 to much, provides no difference

Doki Doki Panic - Boring, didn't technically leave an impact in future games, gameplay is too differenct from any others (sure Miyamoto changes gameplay, but this was never used again

Doki Doki Panic is better though if I had to choose.
