  • Couple of things here...

She said her first rat is 18 months old so could only have had it for about 16 months. She can't possibly be an expert. It shows because she thinks teeth get 'filed down by age', even though their teeth constantly grow.

Another thing is that she recommends going to pet stores, even though they're supplied by the feeder breeder industry and bred in disgusting conditions. You should never get rats from a pet shop. Ever. Anyone who says you should doesn't research.

  • There's lots of free pet-rats in the alley behind my building!

  • what are easier to take care of rats or mice???

  • To people saying don't buy it from a pet store I live in Australia and around here our rats from pet stores come from local breeders not feeder industries so there already tame and loved when you buy them :D

  • I reeeaaaly want a pet rat and this has taught me a lot aswell as all your other videos :) thankyou

  • take your shirt off!!! no you have rats as pets....

  • 1:06 MONSTER!!!

  • feed it to a snake

  • Teeth do not get filed down by age. Their teeth will keep growing unless they have specific toys and things to gnaw on to keep their teeth at the right size. My brother had a rat whose teeth overgrew and had to be taken to a vet to file them down. Same thing with mice. There is also special foods that will keep their teeth at the size they're supposed to be.

  • every time i get my pet rat out the cage it poos EVERY WHERE
