Demolition of the Terminus Building in Wood Street. The old area named Temperance Town was demolition many years ago and the area known as Central Square was created and the Terminus Building was built in 1954.
Contractors are currently demolishing the structure ready for a brand new Station Building.

It was an ugly building - typical of its period. Always looked like a building from a Carry On film.
As for the Cafe on the end, it was always full of tramps harrassing you for money and food!
