This is very scary! NOT that a trans-person was helped but that a person so sick they had to have their bladder removed, that is unnacceptable and unbelievable. How sad. Im not sure that was even a good example, losing your bladder alone was the whole story in a nut shell. Who makes these decisions and can sleep at night thinking its ok? A stimulator is so much more LESS expensive than the surgery she had was and the new cost of up-keep and supplies now needed for her to exist.

An expense that will cost now for her lifetime and the stimulator would have been in and done with. I need a gastric stimulator and I DO have insurance, but they say Im not sick enough to qualify for it LOL Again, I find it amazing.

We live longer than an other country with cancer and that includes the uninsured. It is illegal to pay for your care in Canada. Obamatrons think that is "fair". They want it "fair" and have more people die.

Canada's government-controlled rationing is infinitely worse than not being able to afford something because you are poor. There is no comparison. Private healthcare is ALWAYS better than being at the mercy of the government.

As opposed to being at the mercy of the health insurance companies. If our system is so much better, why is it that every industrialized nation has moved to a single payer system and never looked back.

Health insurance companies are ALWAYS better than government insurance. ALWAYS.

Nations that have become ENSLAVED to single-payer TYRANNY are TRAPPED because they have an army of bureaucrats and administrators that continue to vote for living PARASITICALLY at the expense of the taxpayers.

Single-payer is TYRANNY.
Single-payer is SLAVERY.
Single-payer is EVIL.

If you could provide a link(s) for your statistics it would be most helpful. Thankyou

It isn't the shortage of kidneys - a family member or friend can donate a kidney; and these people offered to pay for the NEUROSTIMULATOR - not another kidney, so what you're saying does not apply about kidney shortage.

So.....explain this....

Waiting for kidney transplants is because there is a limited supply of kidneys not because of people getting elective surgery. Organs don't grow on trees. You are going to have to wait for a surgery like that no matter what country you live in.
