  • @xalstarx he didn't actually write Handbags and Gladrags, but he did write and record a song (with Liam Gallagher of Oasis) that he performed on the show called "Freelove Freeway" that was actually pretty good.

  • @ the Office theme was a library music cover of the Rod Stewart original, and Extras was "Tea for the Tillerman", written/sung by Cat Stevens

  • @xalstarx, Gervais didn't perform the theme for Office or Extras, apart from one Office episode which featured Brent "covering" Handbags and Gladrags

  • lol do u want a celebrity warm milk

    nananana nananana

  • @xalstarx If you look at the comments below, you'll find that pretty much 10 people have now confirmed that to me :) but thanks!

  • @daskillingmoon Gervais is a singer/songwriter. The theme music for both The Office and Extras was written and performed by him. He even tried his hand at becoming a pop star in the 80's.

  • @daskillingmoon: before he took up comedy, Mr G was in a couple of pop groups. His band 'Seona Dancing' had a hit in the Phillippines with 'More to Lose'. Not many people know dat.

  • >_>

  • they should get karl pilkington in.

  • Elmo would not sleep if Ricky said "N for Never say never"
