DuneRidr, I didn't mean to offend you. I have seen this group perform at many bluegrass festivals. The banjo players name is Barry Abernathy. It is common knowledge Barry was born with the deformity on his left hand. Barry has explained this many times. I just wanted to set the record straight. I see you have a large vocabulary.

personaly i dont like country music but you have to respect bluegrass for the musicianship. and especialy these guys, if only for the fact that the banjo player doesnt have any left hand fingers

Barry is missing the fingers on his left hand and has taught himself to play excellent banjo despite his "handicap." I'm not sure why his fingers are missing. I think he explained it at the festival, saying something about playing with his stubs. In any case, he's a fantastic musician and singer.
