Morphing project for the "Darwin Evolution" exhibition at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, 2009.
The morphs contained in this sequence were created by me in Sqirlz Morph. Was quite a challenge to morph such complex structures. They were presented at the show through an interactive panel in which the visitor could choose combinations/morphs among different skeletons: birds, mammals, fish and reptiles. The idea behind this project was to make a pedagogical approach to important theories about the similarities among animals, their structures and their evolution. These are just a few examples of the 24 morphs contained in the panel, displayed here in a bad sequence with very bad images and sound effects. Anyway, I'm basically testing times and image quality. A final version will be uploaded later.
Thanks for taking the time to look and, if you have the chance, visit this show that will be present in Madrid really soon.

Hi!
Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated.
I'm disabling them because this is only a test version. It seems everything has changed in YouTube since my last upload. Great new features.
All the best!

Wow! Would have got a Five if the rating wasn't disabled. That was very well done.

Thank you very much!
Photography of the skeletons bought for this project was taken by Patrick Gries, as mentioned in the movie. There's also a great book "Evolution" with it that you might like to take a look. Best photography book I've ever seen.
I wish you can to Madrid. It was a success in Lisbon and I hope it will also be in Madrid. The opening is this month. The whole show is amazing.
Thank you once again!

Stupid question: Did you take the photos as well?
This is marvelous, the grand picture of our similarities in a interactive narrative... I wish I could go to Madrid...
