two worlds collide - chapter 2

My eyelashes fluttered, I tried to focus my eyes, but the light was so bright. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I must've fell asleep outside when I was laying on the grass. I looked around, the sun was shining bright, no change their. I felt weird, everything felt weird. I stood, stumbled abit, then went to find the nearest toilet. It really sucked being a runaway, I needed to find some place to stay, and fast. I couldn't keep this up for much longer. It took me ages to find a toilet, there was a que. A posh woman was staring at me, I just scowled at her. If only she new. Walking around the shopping centre, I felt like I was a bubble floating. I wasn't really paying attention to anything, I bought a sandwhich, a bottle of water, and an apple, the last of my money. I think im going to get the train to a different city, I couldn't see myself living here. I walked to the nearest train station. It was ages before the next train came, I hopped on it and sat in the last row in third class. Manchester, no. Liverpool, no. Scotland, too far. London, I thought about it, i've never been but always wanted. Maybe i'll check London out for a couple days. The train ride was long, and boring. I spotted the ticket man coming up my aisle. So I slipped away before he saw me and sat in the toilet. I sat down on the toilet seat and burst out crying. I dont know why, I wasnt feeling upset. I weaped for ages. I heard the train driver anounce London as the next stop, as soon as the train stopped I ran out the toilet, off the train and through the station. I bumped into some people, but I didnt care, which wasnt like me.

London was... busy, and big. By the time i'd walked around one shopping centre it was half 6. I thought i'd better go find somewhere to stay, but I had no look. Instead I settled for a bus shelter, t was better than nothing, and sheltered me from the rain. I rested my head on the side and nodded off. "Excuse me miss." "miss?" "are you awake?" I woke to see a little old lady sitting next to me. I sat up and waited for her to moan and groan about me being a rebel. "Are you okay miss?" "Oh, erm, yes thanks." "If you dont mind me asking, why're you sleeping here?" "Its a long story" "You could catch your death out here." "Well, i've survived 3 weeks, im sure another wont hurt. I dont mean that sarcastically or anything." "Oh dear, you could get kidnapped or robbed or anything out here." "I learned karate when I was a kid, I think I can still remember a few things." "Love, you wouldnt be able to last one minute out here on the streets in london. This may seem rash, but I can offer you a place to stay for the night?" "Oh, erm, thanks and all, but no thanks." "Im afraid I wont take no for an answer." "no, really, im good thanks." This old woman grabbed my hand and pulled me onto a bus that was waiting that I had no idea was there. We wasnt on the bus for long, this old lady lived in a small flat. It was nice, a little old fashioned, but cosy. I sat on the sofa, the old lady was gone for a while, when she returned she was wearing her pajamas. "I'va ran you a bath, left a towel, pajamas, toothbrush etc in the bathroom, the room you'll be staying in is the first on the left. By the time you've scrubbed up i'll be fast asleep." "Thank you so much, I cant thank you enough." "Oh dont worry about it my dear, I couldnt bare if something happened to you when I could have helped." She smiled and went into what I thought was her bedroom. So I found the bathroom, it was really nice, if thats not too weird. There was candles and nice smelling body washes. And towels with flowers on.
