As a right BKA who gave up my leg (on 1/5/11) due to an aneurysm behind my knee - I SALUTE YOU!!!! I was doing deep knee squats in the weight room when I felt something "pop". Thought it was an ACL; but after I went to the hospital and a CAT scan was performed, it was discovered that I had blood clots that destroyed most muscle tissue in my lower leg.
I just started back driving my car and will soon be back on the golf course.
Do a search on SMR4REAL to see my first steps on 5 Apr 11.

I dream of running again. I hope I can get a running leg, too... impossible is nothing is right !!! Thanks for sharing your journey.
My friend recently had his left leg amputated below the knee due to diabetes. He is currently in a wheel chair and in despair. He needs a prosthetic leg. What kind is that you have and where did you get it? Bestoink in Atlanta. Blublabla52@yahoo.com

@SteffiReitsch ok well I have two.. the one I use everyday is my walking foot, it's a Renegade. That's the one I wear in most my videos, the one I can put a shoe on. Then the one in this video is my running foot, it's a cheetah foot. It's designed for distance rather than speed, but as you can see I am able to run pretty fast. You can get all your feet/legs from a prosthetics office. You just need to find a local one. Message me if you have any other questions.
