Electric Man Sings Hendrix, Philadelphia Folk Festival 2001

Electric Man, a.k.a. Steve Perlsweig, does Jimi Hendrix at the 2001 Philadelphia Folk Festival. With his self-contained digital audio equipment, amplification, and enough battery-power to run a small car, he performs Jimi Henrix's 1971 "My Friend", the song to which boomers like myself are STILL trying to figure out the lyrics.

Pope and Wiz-Dum of The Schwenkers hooked up with Electric Man as he traveled the campground performing Hendrix and others with his unique style. The PhilFolk campground is also featured.

Later that evening, Electric Man visits The Schwenkers' camp and is presented with a 2001 SCHWENKER AWARD: the prestigious "Best
Wandering Minstrel" Award.
