  • Wouldn't it be better to make the side of the square equal to the square root of the planck length? (don't square root the units) WTF is the square root of a meter!? For a long time I have had this nightmare that reality is 2 dimensional and existence is an illusion and to my dismay he seems to confirm my suspicions. He is a very interesting fellow.

  • He mentions 'planck areas' which are a planck distance on a side but the area you get for such a square would be a SMALLER number than the planck length number because the planck length number is between 0 and 1. Are you allowed to generate such a number? For example suppose the planck length is 1/2 meter, square that you get 1/4 m^2 now are you allowed to use it? In some sense 1/4 m^2 is infinitely larger than1/2 m because you can deposit an infinite amount of planck lengths in this square!
