Also, to answer your other question, yes, I do think black women & what ever other race of men besides black men would date and marry. That is just been proven, Iman ( African decent model ) married to David Bowie (British white guy), Seal (black african/british) married to Heidi Klum (german white woman ). Interacial dating has little if nothing to do with slavery....we are all living on the same planet, it's bound to happen, even with white people. One truth, we are the human race, not color.

@rckbttm14, I am not getting your point. My point is, in extreme circumstances people do fall inlove. Some couples risked their lives to betogether, while others led secret affairs ( sadly the protocal in those tragic times). All I am saying, is in small cases, interacial relationships were not all rape ( although the majority was ). I dated my boss, job authority had nothing to do with our relationship not everyone thinks that way. It happenes but, it's not a truth for all situations.

@rckbttm14 Alex Haley's Grandmother, Queen, was born out of a willing relationship between her mother and her mother's master. Not, saying this with pride about it, so don't take it that way or twist it that way please. But, there were some sexual encounters that were consensual between master and slave. Some even ran away to the north to be together. It's a few but they did happen. Thomas Jefferson comes to mind as well.
