This is a video describing the installation of a vapor barrier, styrofoam insulation, and pex piping for radiant heat in a garage.

If you're looking for pex this is the best price I've found for Pex tubing. I've bought 3 rolls of this stuff, and it's awesome. - http://amzn.to/zR48Nv

  • @flipnotrab Thanks so much! I'm so happy it helped someone that's my goal! Yeah, couldn't believe I forgot the plastic, uggh luckily it was too late. :) Love to see your radiant project in a timelapse, or even just a video, post a video response!

  • Good video. I am getting ready to do a 900 sq ft addition and want to heat the floor with the addition water heater(share it). Your video was just what I was looking for and I'll be 100% honest too, I was watching and thinking "uhhh, is he going to put the plastic on top of the foam??" LOL! Hey, we've ALL done something like that at some point! Just be glad the cement truck wasn't backing up and you looked over and saw all your plastic still rolled up! Thanks for the quick education.

  • @michaelalanlee Thanks again for your comments! :)

  • An intelligent perfectionist!

And, a touch of humility :)

  • @Infladeck Thanks! Yeah I maintain a break neck pace for projects like this, probably because I live in the land of tyveck houses! (people start projects but they don't get finished because winter comes too quickly, then projects are hard to get started again and the house always remains dressed in tyveck :)

  • Great Video!

I'm getting ready to build my own garage / workshop. I hope I can do it as fast as you!!
