Senator Murray avoided this (and every) Town Hall opportunity

This "mother in tennis shoes" sidestepped public scrutiny in Everett, Washington on August 22nd, 2009. However, the senator's iconic tennis shoes were ceremoniously called to duty in her absence. Her MIA status is obviously disappointing to her Washington state constituents, as there was a surge of public outcry for public meetings well before her summer recess schedule was finalized. Issues include Health care reform, Cap and Trade and other new massive deficit spending programs congress is so desperate to pass, even without reading the bills and garnering proper public support. Given her disinterest in a town hall, apparently her shoes were better suited to meet with us.

This Healthcare "reform" (HR3200) is not about HEALTH or CARE. It's about CONTROL.
