  • Not sure what bit of film you're refering to Momthrone, but I can assure you that these shots were all taken in high summer. And as I'm sure you're aware, trout spawn during the winter, which is when fishing season is closed.

  • Great to land one, even better seeing it swim away again. Who knows, you may even catch it again? That certainly was true with 'The Moustacheiod One' and myself a few years ago, caught the same fish in the same stretch of river on subsequent years,(identified by looking at the 'grip&grin' photos afterwards) and now the challenge is to get the bugger out again for another picture soon!

  • WOW 2:02 that guy has never had an artificial in his mouth. Never seen that before.

  • That's not unusual for New Zealand, there's a lot of fish and places with not a lot of fishermen!

  • Yeah, it is good to watch them....but it really makes your nerves go when you try to get a clean cast up to a fish you can see so clearly!

  • I'm new to the game but I agree with Struck2soon its a killer trying to present that fly to a fish you can see without spooking it.

  • Fish are spawning and protesting there nest

  • Super Video!

You have no idea how glad I am that you guys know how to release a fish correctly!

Those fish at the end are beauties!

Well done and keep it up!

  • wherebouts are you fishing in GA? I love the Toccoa and get up to it at least once a year. I've also fished the Hootch a number of times.
