I am using Windows XP PRO with SP3. The module is MSI SF200 and an extra Bluetooth dongle. And I have an extra SD memory card, for the maps.

How did you get the nRoute program onto the Asus Eee without an optical drive? I have nRoute on a big Dell and want to put it on my new Eee1000.

I am using Aspire one + iGuidance 3 (06 map) with a BT gps receiver. Same set up . Work beautfiul. The 3D graphic is breathtaking. But the map is kind of outdated. I just ordered City Nav USA and GPS 18 deluxe of Garmin. They are on sale at Can$69 both. Should come in two days.

are you using GPSProxyPC to use the non-garmin GPS receiver with nRoute?

I want to do the same as you're doing but I'm not sure if this GPSProxyPC program works.

Dude, this is so cool. I'm actually thinking about buying a Eee just to do this. What GPS software are you using and how does it run? (is it sluggish or does it run smoothly?)
