Henry Cavill= SUPERMAN!!!! And vice-versa!!!
Tom Welling did a GREAT job for what Smallville has as purpose!!! And its purpose was not a Superman, nor a Superboy, was a YOUNG Superman, growing and maturing with his superpowers!!!! I think, and after 10 years, T welling wouldn´t be much interested in continuing playing clark os superman for a movie.

omg if you compare this to the footage of him on set, its obvious he has been workinng his ass off. i am glad to see an actor who has bulked up for the role.i dont care if he is not american he fits the part and he respects the role, all the best to him

As much as I am behind British actors getting roles, (being British myself), Superman is an American character so should be played by an American actor. I'll wait to see how well Cavill does though. Good luck to him, he'll need it.
