  • i have cerebral palsy, i am disabled. the intelligence and the potential ( those are the correct spellings of the words) are present.

  • Why should people with disabilities be able to vote before everyone else? Disability is a continuem, and unless we are willing to allow everyone a marginal improvement according to claimed or demonstrated sub-optimal performance, than this is a silly policy/law.

People that have issues voting due to whatever (disability or no) should have reasonable accomodations. Deaf? NOthing. Bad hip? Chair to wait, and you wait like everyone else. Can't wait due to pain? Vote immediately.

  • Being deaf is just that you can't hear, it's not a disability. The inteligence and the potencial are there.

Good for you, don't lose your self-esteem. and cheat.

  • I agree 65 yrs old people should be included. Many of them are having hard time to stand for a long while. Many of them, I think, already have arthitis, rheumatis, back problem, etc. If I don't see many old people there, then I would take advantage of fools to move to the front to get over with. They can't take away my Deaf pride as they've been trying all my life.

  • OH PLEASE!!HIGH TIME to say enough is enough with "pity me my ears arent working while everything else is fine" IM PROUD TO MARCH UP TO THE LINE TO VOTE WITH NO INTRUPTION, SHOW IM AM JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! I want to be treated like everyone else, yep here goes the respect in equality.

  • yeah! i am Proud of waiting line for 30 mins minsThursday morning i was show up, due my job very important company, so i asked Police what time do you think it would be less crowdy, Police smile and say yes im glad u asked me, Come back at 530, so i looked at time and finally my boss told me i c an leave 5pm because if i havent voteso i lefted 5pm and got in there 515 and wait line for 30 mins or less, and i am Proud to be VOTED!

  • Grrr!!! Only people with physical disabilities (whether hearing or Deaf or whatever) should have the choice (note that is still a choice!) to cut the line -- or not. Everyone else -- including non-disabled Deaf people -- can damn well wait in line!!!

  • Good comments. I agree, just like everyone going through the line. Is worth it to vote. Biggest election in history. Your ASL was very clear.
