I started this a while back and then abandoned it. The arrangement is basically composed of variations which are pretty difficult to memorize. The fingerings are not much of a challenge, but it's just the feeling of monotony that makes me not want to play this a second time. I think it's due mostly to the tune not having the lyrics, which is the soul of this music. This is meant to be sung and does not really fit a solo instrumental arrangement.

thank's raffy for your beautiful rendition of MJV's arrangement. sungha jung's version is just an interpretation of keneth kwan / xuefei yang's arrangement. better check xuefei yang's rendition of the song. may arrangement din si lexvonsumayo na distinct sa iba. Anak is actually the best-selling Filipino song of all time!!! naging popular sa 56 countries and sang in more than 26 different languages (ayon sa Wiki), and interpreted by countless artists and musicians. mabuhay si ka freddie!

Composed by a Pinoy, arranged for guitar by a Pinoy and played/rendered by a fellow-Pinoy. Can there be a better combination ;=) ? I've heard the other versions you mentioned and they are all splendid. Tata Freddie put pinoy music on the world map and this is just my contribution to his song's sustained popularity. Salamat po.
