Join Mika and Michael for some close racing on the old A1 RIng in Austria, back in 1998. Full onboard footage.
Mika is only stopping once and Michael will stop twice, the Ferrari is faster at the hairpin and the corner after the backstraight. Great driving from Mika with that heavy car though, from 4:09 you can see Michael gaining very much in those two corners, but Mika just won't give any room to pass!

Bring back A1-Ring, Magny Cours, Indianapolis, Estoril, Adelaide and Imola, in place of Bahrain, China, Valencia, Hungary, Korea and India...

A1-Ring was designed by Tilke and was the first of many of these modern tracks that everybody despise.

God I love this old school tracks! The new f1 circuits look exactly the same! Turkey, korea, india, if u put the same colour in the a-pex u won´t know what track you r driving at! Tracks like spa, silverstone, monza, monaco, A1-ring, Estoril, interlagos and so on should be the places where f1 races, when u watch the korean gp and u see about 40,000 guys in a circuit that can take 100000, u fell terrible. Europe, America and Japan and Australia are the places where f1 should race forever!

As a kid, I'd always wondered what those 2 yellow-black bars were for displayed right above the drivers' name when they'd show the positions every now n then :P!

Damn that's some good driving from the best drivers in the world, Mika and Schumi.. As many pointed out, those were the days my friend.. I feel bad for Schumi now, he needs a Mika to step up his game and bring some excitement to F1 again. I'd miss my wedding to go see it live!
