  • He was such a great singer. I always try to find his recordings

  • Film historian and author Dick Bann the tall, handsome fellow in the dress suit with the mustache is there..The NYC Sons former president Alan Barbour..is starting the toasts.

  • Dear D4Seasons,

Reported,,The boys sang"I Can't Do The Sum"with the schoolmaster and the kids in

The "Toyland"schoolhouse's classroom. But no footage of that scene is known to exsist.

  • Dear D4Seasons, Sadly,The boys never really sang in any of their fllm opera spoofs..although?

They came close to performing one tune in their last film opera spoof"Swiss Miss". The song was titled:"He Thought Of It All On His Own"..Stan,Babe and Charlie

Judelles(Who played Emile The cheese factory owner)performed the tune..but only a small snippet of the song remains.

  • @143AC thanks for replying. i last read that f. knight passed away in 1998. he lived a long life. if i knew i'd gone to meet him. i saw other footage of him. that nice voice. also wished L&H sang a few numbers in the wooden soldiers movie.

  • Dear D4Seasons, This footage is not from a Sons' Convention. This footage was shot at a NYC Sons Banquet at

The E.68th St. Armory in NYC.
