JER. 8;8 --"How can you say,"we are wise ,and the law of the lord is with us ? But, behold ,the FALSE pen of the scribe has made it into LIE..& Jeremiah 14:14,, Also ADMITS to LIES. So if the Bible ADMITS to LIES, how can it be Trusted???

@learnthetruthtoday when you read scripture, or anything really, you have to take it in the context of who said it, who they were saying it too, when it was said etc. That particular verse actually says the exact opposite of what you said. It says that if a man kills his slave by beating him he must be punished. As for the other verse you mentioned, Lev. 25:44 you have to understand that these were very different times with a very different culture and that different rules applied.

@learnthetruthtoday interesting question about the ark and the commandments...they're pretty easily answered though. The ark was made out of wood, and the flood was supposed to have happened over 5000-6000 years ago so it would have decayed a long time ago. As for the tablets with the 10 Commandments and the Arc of the Covenant it could be the same answer, that they just decayed into dust, or it could be that they're still around somewhere and nobody's found them yet.
