The animation is terrible. Just a bunch of poorly done motion tweens. Sure, you can do an upper body animation, but as soon as movements of the whole body are necessary, it's like the budget dropped. The backgrounds are amazing, and aren't receiving the complimenting animation they deserve. Instead of redrawing, which looks a ton better, it's simply made into separate body parts, and then moved around like a six year old with puzzle pieces. Great idea, terrible animation.
