Why did they take rescue 911 off the air?

@GoodPointpogo CBS was behind in the ratings in the 1994-1995 season, so they got rid of a bunch of a their old programs to try out new programs.

@pharrellfan Sometimes they're the real people, and sometimes they're actors. The dispatchers and rescue workers almost always play themselves. Sometimes the victims and their families are played by actors, and sometimes they play themselves. You can usually tell if you compare how they look in the re-enactment to how they look in their interview. It looked like the mom was the only one played by an actor in this segment.

I'm proud of that little boy. Armando is a smart kid for calling 911 to help his mother. If he was 6 at that time, he'd be born in 1988 which means he's 21 now. I bet he still has that fire truck that Dorothy gave him. Boy, was he frantic! But he stayed on the phone and didn't hang up until help arrived.
