But now we never find out if Ernie ever finds out who Ernie tells the lady who murdered her father. Darn!

When I was a little kid (late 60's) there was a coin operated TV like this in a laundromat my parents patronized. I think you paid a quarter and got a half hour of TV. It seemed whenever I was there some soap opera was on, which was worse than nothing at all. I remember also that when there was "controversy" over Pay-TV, the broadcast networks opposing, I thought these coin-operated TV's were what they were talking about!!

I have this exact model (finish and everything) at my dad's (no room at my place). Does yours have the "victrola" input in the back? Did you have to do any electronic work to the chassis? I'm curious because my set currently doesn't work and I was wondering if there was anything specific to this model that may be a hangup for restoration.

Yes, My set has the Victrola Input on the back, Not the best place for the switch as the set is usually up against the wall. Too bad they didn't make the control door a bit bigger and fit the switch there. Chassis restoration was pretty straight forward, Replaced all paper & filter caps, A few out of spec resistors and a couple tubes. The worst part is removing everything from the cabinet as the tuner isn't attached to the chassis and the anode lead to the CRT is really short. Take photos!
