  • @alegremetalhead The list doesn't go in order. It's just random. lol. I actually would have uploaded this sooner but youtube didn't allow videos longer than ten minutes. I uploaded this the same day that they increased the size limit.

  • Yo, there's this chic rapper named Tali Demon who does this Final Fantasy Rap about General Celes using the walk-about theme from this game. You gotta check it out. I would post the link on here, but it wont let me. The song is called General Celes it's dope

  • "Hi ho, hi ho, off to face the final boss we go" *creepy music begins to play* "Or we could just run away screaming in fear instead of getting smashed to pieces by a deranged mad man, who's for that idea?" *several hands go up to agree*

I miss boss music like this in games. You always knew you were in for a tough fight when you got very heart pounding, pulse racing music like this that would make you hope you'll survive the battle.

  • @rahn45 That is why it was intended to be a transformed mockery blended together. This is also a reason why when you watch Dracula movies, there is always some scene where the Vampire is playing that section of "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" and adding their own lines at times. Its like "laughing at the divine" and insulting it at the same time.

It just goes to further prove just well thought out the theme was. We can agree that putting that in there was by no means an accident.

  • @Kurotsukinami I'm pretty sure that the third being ripped off from Bach is intentional, the trick of the movement is that Kefka's theme is imposed into it; basically Kefka took something divine and replaced it with himself. Listen closely and you'll hear it at 8:40, most people miss this.

Which is ironic since some people like to argue that Dancing Mad is not Kefka's theme when it's shamelessly embedded into the third movement.

  • Kefka: "Why do people build things they know are going to be destroyed? Why do people cling to life, knowing that they have to die? Knowing that none of it will mean anything once they do?"

I don't know Kefka, but I can't argue with it.

  • @videogamer810 It's an entirely fair fight. This is not four songs strung into one, it's one song with multiple movements, something that has been used in composition for quite a long time. A failure to do that in FFVII does not turn this into an unfair fight somehow, it just means that this is the superior piece. Destructoid has a great editorial about it entitle "Final Fantasy VI's 'Dancing Mad', a critical analysis" that I would recommend checking out.

  • Seph = Fanoys Fangirls and Fanservice he aslo a Whiny Momma's Boy who Sucks Balls

Kefka = Narcissistic insane Demented Twisted Jackass who destroys the world Knows nothing of love or Happiness and wants to destroy everything that could possibly hinder his Status as a God

    My God thats epic

  • @Eldeecue Though it's not really a fair fight, since this is technically four songs cleverly strung together to sound like a single piece.

If they had only done the same thing with the final boss approach of Final Fantasy VII. That one technically consists of four levels as well: The enemies on the stone islands, Jenova-SYNTHESIS, Bizarro Sephiroth, and Safer Sephiroth. I think if those songs were all strung together in the same way, that combination would win over Dancing Mad.

  • @Eldeecue Damn straight! This is the pinnacle of boss themes, I have yet to hear one that even comes close to matching this one.

  • @36256564874847848487 AAAAAAHHH! What a NIGHT! Kyle had himself another night of Wine, Women and Song! (Just between you and me, I think I had too much of the wine.) BUT THE WOMEN DIDN'T COMPLAIN!

  • Squaresoft: "Hey Uematsu, how's that boss music coming along?"

Uematsu: "Oh, no, this is just my TWENTY-MINUTE ORGAN CONCERTO. I'll get to that boss music tomorrow."
